Yes, it is safe to delete App data, before clearing data you can also take a backup of the data.

There are three methods with help of which we can clear app data in Windows 10 :

Note:-  Take a backup of important data inside that App whose data you want to clear.

• First Method - Using Windows App Data folder:

• Press Windows + R, it will launch run.

• Now in run type appdata as shown in the image below.

 

• Now press enter, it will open a Window in File Explorer as shown in the image given below

• Open Roaming Folder, Here you will find Folders containing the data of apps installed on your system, for example, if you want to clear data of Photoshop then open the Adobe folder and then delete the photoshop folder..

• 2nd method 

in search box type add or , now open add or remove programs

• In apps and features, you will see all the installed apps on your pc

• Select the app whose data you want to clear 

Note -: This works only on System apps and apps downloaded from the Microsoft store like Edge, camera,clocks, movies and tv, etc

• After selecting the app click on the advanced options 

    

• In advanced options, you will see a lot of options like repair, uninstall and reset

scroll down and click on reset

if none of the above methods work for you, then open that app whose data you want to clear and open settings of that app and search clear data option settings.

Uninstall the app and install it again
