Before we get started with the Rotting process let's first know what is rooting.
What is Rooting and why do we root Mobile phones?
Rooting is a process In which we remove the restrictions of the Operating system and device manufacturer, this process is also known as the process of getting super User access.
Rooting a phone can give users options to do more, including Boosting the performance of the phone, boosting the battery life, enables you to install incompatible apps blocked by your carrier.
But Rooting a mobile phone also removes its security also which means a rooted mobile is not secured and can be easily targeted(hacked) by hackers.
That is why we should not store our important data in rooted devices.

Download all the software's given below:
- Download ADB setup and platform tools: Download ADB setup and platform-tools from the links given below:
- Download Disable dm verify: Download disable dm verify from the below link:
- Download Magisk 20.3 and Magisk manager: Download magisk 20.3 and magisk manager from the links given below:
- Download Twrp custom recovery: Download TWRP(tulip) custom recovery from the link given below: Download Twrp custom recovery: Download TWRP(tulip) custom recovery from the link given below:
- Note-: Do not forget to take the backup of your important data

The below video shows the procedure for redmi note 6 Pro but the procedure is the same for Redmi note 8.
- Follow my steps to root Redmi note 6 Pro
- 1-) Go to settings and then go to about phone then tap on MIUI version 4-5 times to enable developer options(settings).
- 2-) Then go back, and open additional settings then at the bottom you will find developer options to open it.
- 4-) now you must be unlocked if your bootloader is locked then watch the video given below.
Note:- If you got waiting time while unlocking bootloaderder then please read the Warning at the bottom of this bog.
- 5-) Then enable OEM unlocking.
- 6-) Now reboot your phone to fast boot mode by holding the Volume Down and the power button.
- 7-) Now go to the folder on your pc where you have to download the files/Softwares given above.
- 8-) Right-click on ADB setup and then click on extract here, Double click on ADB setup.exe.
- 9-) Now type y and press enter (3 -times).
- 10-) Right-click on platform-tools and click on extract here, then select and copy the Tuliprecovery.img.Then open the platform-tools folder and paste it.
- 11-) click on the path(at the top eg d:/myfiles) and then type cmd (as shown in the photo given below) and then press enter.
12-) Now type the following commands given below:
Note-: Make sure your phone is connected to pc and is in fastboot mode
a-) fastboot devices
“if your device is connected you will see a serial no as shown in the picture given below"
First of all, you need to download the software's given below:
b-) fastboot flash recovery tuliprecovery.imp
c-) fastboot boot tuliprecovery.img
"Now your phone will reboot into TWRP custom recovery"
13-) click on select language choose and choose your language and then click on ok.
14-) Then swipe right to modifications and then go to wipe then swipe right to factory reset “this will remove everything from your phone, Do not forget to take a backup of your data”.
"GO back to pc"
15 -) copy disable dm verify to your internal phone memory(as shown in the above video).
16 -) Also copy Magisk 20.3.zip and Magisk manager.apk to your internal memory.
"Go back to TWRP recovery"
17 -) Click on install and select Disable dm verify and then swipe right to install it.
"the may take 1-2min to install Disable dm verify"
18 -) Click on the MI button present at the bottom of the screen.
19 -) click on install and select Magisk 20.3 and then swipe to install it.
"The installation process may take 1-3 min wait and let it get complete"
Now you will find an open saying install TWRP app, you can leave or you can also install it is your choice.
Now your phone will reboot compete for the installation setup of the phone.
20 -) Open file manager and install magisk manager.apk.
hey, let's check the root status:
Go to play store and install Root checker, then open it and then click verify root status.
whoa, the phone is rooted successfully

Is there any way to bypass waiting time while unlocking bootloader of any Xiaomi device?
Ans-) No, you can not bypass the waiting time of the MI unlocker. please read the warning given below.
Warning -:
If you got the waiting time of 72,168(7 days),360 hours( 15 days), etc ....after waiting.... do not repeat the steps like adding MIUI account again in developer options.
if you add your MI account again in the developer options, then MI Unlocker will again show you the waiting time.
after waiting Simply put your phone in fast boot mode and unlock it using MI Unlocker.
